somehow, my eyes became victim of my actions. they were weary from all the slpless nights, suffered a pricking sting while bathing and soap got into one of it, then the wind from the fan dries up my eyes and makes me want to tear all the time, so it seems like im in a rather miserable state, weeping over some sad business.
i've learnt how to prevent the condition of my lazy eye from deteriorating, but i cant find time to let it rest and enjoy the luscious green pastures (which is said to help fight myopia). vision is one, out of the other five senses, that lets us relish the panorama before us. even if we see children in third world country suffering, it transmits the message to our brain and make us even more appreciative of what we have. dont u agree that eyes do wonders?
imagine how it'd hav been if we lost our sight. this made me relate to one part of a literature poem which i saw yday: how can we rely on other's ability to heal our eyesight, when in the first place we cant even see where they are from?
it's so true, our eyes helps us see what is right and wrong. i cant believe what i'd do if i were to lose my eyes, because i'll be so lost and not know who may be speaking ill of me. then backstabbers should be named radius-stabber instead . (sorry if it sounds cheeeeeesy)
Anyway, i'll try to schedule a timetable for my dear eyes, so as not to overwork and experience diminishing marginal utility, otherwise average cost increases ( amount to pay doctor for consulting him on my 'sick' eyes). Cherish my eyes now or never, prevention is better than cure.
* The above entry is just me trying to be comical. enjoy reading!
